The new guy (Ron Beery) running the place was the tech who built mine and he certainly did a beautiful job. He ought to be able to anser all your questions. Note, the first time they painted mine, the shop incorrectly applied the primer causing the paint to chip off right away. They had to strip it and do it again. Make sure your shop knows what it's doing. Regarding nose gear gas struts and their potential interference someone wrote about, by now it should be SOP - Never power the gear up after maintenance without first cycling it by hand.
