I am right at that point where I am ready to grind on the aft section of my Legacy, and I will be hanging a Mazda 20b rotary that I am working on now, on the front. I will be capable of up to 450+ hp with the turbo setup I am working on, and so anticipate speeds up near the envelope, where ever that is. Is there a way I can do this reinforcing now? Should I? If so, how? Also, do the speed mods really help that much? I am standing here with glass and epoxy in hand awaiting input.....(:-) Thanks; Greg Ward Legacy #178, in process ----- Original Message ----- From: "Farnsworth" To: Sent: Monday, February 18, 2008 11:46 AM Subject: [LML] Re: Fast Lancair > > > > > > > "Remember that if you bought a carbon Legacy kit and intended to race it > at Reno, Lancair > applied extra carbon in the tail cone and vertical stablizer area for > strength and > stiffness." > > > The above statement in interesting.
