"Plane Carrying 4 Crashes, Burns at Portland International Airport; 1 Killed"
This was a Columbia 400, not a Lancair. The crash was on an airport access road, not a runway. As usual the news sites can't get their facts straight. They referred to the plane as a Lancair Columbia 400 and stated that it was a "factory model of a kit airplane designed by Lancair International, Inc in Redmond.
