Ron,

Thank you for your response. I have the same configuration as you, with trim tab, servo and white light. I presume your rudder is fully balance.

Subject: RE: Still Building After All These Years - Rudder weight

Garry V. Laznicka – asked:

What is the weight of your RUDDER?

Garry,

I’m still building my 320/360.  Bought the kit in 1992!!  Expect to fly it this year.

My rudder weighs 14 pounds (using bathroom scale).  I have installed a MAC servo actuated trim system and have a position/strobe installed.  I used 73.4 oz of lead plus the weight of the flox for counter weight in the horn.  I maximized the use of the space by cutting some of the lead into shavings to use as filler. I don’t know how much lead is added to the hinge line area.
