I flew with a guy that had a
Catto 3 blade prop. He had two of them, one older and one new. He wound up
putting on a governor and a Hartzell constant speed prop. The acceleration was
poor and running the engine above 3,000 RPM's is real hard on the fuel, not to
mention the noise and vibration. The top speed wasn't bad but not as fast as the
rest us ours. But..... The prop was real smooth an light. It's a 360.

a Lancair 320 or 360.
