X-Original-Date: Fri, 4 Jan 2008 13:28:46 -0500 X-Mailer: Apple Mail (2.915) I have a VM800 and I changed the battery about 5 years ago. The original battery lasted about 11 years. It is not just the battery that may cause an inconvenience. When the battery is changed. The Tach time will go back to zero on the VM800 (at least on the one that I own). Vision Micro sent me a tool that hooked up to the VM800 so that I could change the tach time back to the time that was on the tach before the battery was changed. If we can not obtain this tool, a logbook entry will have to be made to adjust the tach time from the new zero. I believe that all of the other gauge settings were retained. > From: "Neal Garvin" > Date: January 3, 2008 11:58:38 AM GMT-05:00 > > Does anyone have a source for these internal VMS DPU batteries > (EPI-800 > system)?
