X-Original-Date: Fri, 28 Dec 2007 10:23:01 -0500 References: X-Mailer: Apple Mail (2.915) When and If my 360 ever takes to the air, it will have a Lightspeed Dual Plasma III ignition so by definition, no electrons = no motor. The ignition system will have its own dedicated battery in addition to a 35amp Concorde and one alt will maintain the charge for both batteries. If both ignition systems and both batteries decide to fail at the same time, I'll be landing shortly whether I want to or not. I don't possess the math skills which would allow me to calculate the probability of two ignition sytems and two batteries croaking at the same time, but my version of seat of the pants common sense tells me that probability is very small. I could plug up one of the mag holes with an additional B&C backup alt and or even design in a third 3 or 4amp battery for the ignition. What say all you probability wizards? Angier Ames N4ZQ
