How many have just a flat section where = the canopy=20 frame rests on the Longerons?
There are a couple ways to do it, one = involving a=20 channel.  I currently have a channel type closure. A 1/2" lip = that=20 extends down over the longeron on the inside of the frame. And a = little=20 1/4" lip that covers the exterior side of the longeron when the canopy = is=20 closed.  Problem is that I want a nice continuous seam = line from the=20 canopy to the header to the cowling.  In order to get this I have = to sand=20 off almost all of the exterior lip of teh canopy rail.  This would = make my=20 canopy sit flat on the top of the longeron and I would only have a = interior rail=20 now. Im worried this would cause large air leaks.
