Hey Matt,
I'm not saying there isn't something that should be corrected, but
the build instructions specifically tell you that it is acceptable that the
gear not lock down when checking on jacks. It does provide specific guidance
about how much force should be applied to determine if it is an acceptable
condition. I believe it's about 5 lbs force. Mine does the same thing you
described and I have flight checked it in the air and it works perfect every
time. Remember, the air loads will provide the additional force required to
lock down. Review this section of the builders manual to confirm.
