Bill,

To minimize the cord clutter I located both Pilot and Passenger Headset Jacks in the forward right corner of the Baggage compartment.  Headsets are hung on 3/8” wood dowel in the same corner.  When they are parked, no cords are in the way climbing in or out of  the cockpit.  It’s an easy reach behind the right seat for either headset, the cords are behind you and baggage access is not hindered.  (If you like this idea, you may also like my Oxygen Hose Mess Solver)

I have an overhead console in my Legacy with two Red Eyeball LED’s for Panel Illumination and two very bright White wide angle LED’s for Baggage Compartment Lights with the Shoulder Harnesses in the stock location, you would need to be Tarzan to access baggage with the Headset Cords hanging there too.
