Terrence,

I followed the manual and used AL from wing tanks to transfe  pumps.  The yellow tube (don't know if tygon or vynal) from pump to header.  I replace the yellow stuff every other year as it seams stained and a little stiff.  Your local lawn mower shop sells it.

I used 3/8" Al to the gascolator, then 306 with firesleave to the engine.

No problems noted for the first 750 hrs.  The only thing I might have done different was use a removable fitting at the tank.  I've got a 12" Al skewer sticking out of the wing tanks along the spar.  If it ever needs repair I'll regret not having a bulkhead fitting at the tank.
