I have used 1/4" Polyurathane tubing from tank to Facet pump thru sight gauge area to day tank.. Replaced tubing each 5 years (for 15 years) with no signs of wear or degregation. Wrap each line with aluminum foil (from ACS) then wrap line & foil with electrical tape for chafing pretection. Flexible line eliminates any posible vibration problems, work hardening etc. Obviously, no wraping in sight gauge areas. I've seen where stainless shief over Teflon takes a set and has to be kept in that position during maintenance. No comment on the rest ..     Fuel line preferences:   No Tygon- it gets stiff and tends to shrink in gasoline service.  I have used 1/4" Polyurathane tubing from tank to Facet pump thru sight gauge area to day tank..
