Lancair employee implies the $800 repair/rebuild prevents engine mount fractures. That statement was not in writting. It comes from listening to the guy who does the work. His 'fix' applies to ES, 320 and earlier 2 place nose gear struts.

Another ES guy found cracks in his engine mount over the weekend. Have any Legacy or IV guys found cracks in their mounts? I'm just trying to isolate the cause. Is it the forces from the engine, or from the strut, still looking for answers.
