Mike,
I had some similar looking cracks in a gear leg weldment on my 360 a couple
years ago.
Very unsettling.
After removal of the leg and glass bead blast cleanup, it appeared the
cracks were only in the paint.
Dye penetrant testing confirmed this.
See photos of before and after the bead blast.

Just a heads-up to the whole Lancair group. We've discovered engine
mount cracks on two ES's in the last couple days. I first found mine on
the forward cross tube along the weld seam. The second aircraft had the
cracking in the same place.
