My reason for swapping is that I don't need the power, and would like to shed the extra weight. I accepted it from the engine rebuilder because "that was all he had," and I'd waited for several months for an alternator. Anyone need the big alternator? I have just received a factory rebuilt 100 Amp alternator = (never installed) for my Lancair IV-P/Continental TSIO 550E, and would like to = swap it for a 60 amp unit in similar condition. My reason for swapping is that I = don’t need the power, and would like to shed the extra weight.
