I have dual GRT, a/p etc., = and a=20 Garmin 396 with its flight panel, which I think will not go dark if = everything=20 else does, as it automatically switches to its own battery.  Am I=20 overlooking something here?

All screens will go dark at the worst possible time. That is why = Brent=20 preaches to have a backup system.
