Housing and credit slumps in the market place have dictated to the builders that we put things on ice for awhile but basic planning continues. Big improvements have been made to all Flabob facilities since it's acquisition by Tom Wathen several years ago. Major initiatives for future development include a light industrial park development, the residential airpark, and an aviation oriented charter high school, which has already been in operation on the field for several years. EAA Chapter One is located on Flabob and their website has good airfield information, including a link to the Wathen Foundation by clicking on "airport". http://www.eaach1.org/ Pat Halloran ************************************** Get a sneak peek of the all-new AOL at http://discover.aol.com/memed/aolcom30tour --part1_ccf.1538f52e.33fdeb5f_boundary Content-Type: text/html; charset="US-ASCII" Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable Speaking of airparks, the Tom Wathen Fo= undation, owner of historic Flabob Airport, outside of Riverside, CA. is in=20= the planning stage of developing a residential airpark on Flabob property.&n= bsp; Housing and credit slumps in the market place have dictated to the bui= lders that we put things on ice for awhile but basic planning continues.&nbs= p; Big improvements have been made to all Flabob facilities since it's acqu= isition by Tom Wathen several years ago.  Major initiatives for future= development include a light industrial park development, the residential ai= rpark, and an aviation oriented charter high school, which has already been=20= in operation on the field for several years.   EAA Chapter One is= located on Flabob and their website has good airfield information, includin= g a link to the Wathen Foundation by clicking on "airport".   htt= p://www.eaach1.org/        Pat Halloran<= /FONT>
