No way!  I use Vbcc or Best Climb Compromise.  In my 320 that is 135-140 KIAS yielding 1800 to 900 fpm, depending on the temperature,altitude, load, cooling, comfort and GS needed escape from the dangerous airport environment.
 
Only people flying underpowered and tediously slow aircraft use those other numbers (nibbling on the rash of crash).  I do not try to use Vx or Vy since I can clear the 50 ft obstacle and meet the IFR departure requirements with Vbcc.  I do not use 800 foot runways, either AC or DC.
