Folks, I am wondering when the Gear Dump Valve was changed
and why from the straight ball valve to the Swagelock with a return line to the
reservoir.
The Legacy hydraulic diagram shows the return line to the
Oildyne reservoir. Our older 320 series do not show anything but a Hi/Lo
line system.
I’m just looking for a reason or what condition
created a need for the return line.
If anyone has a sketch or diagram of the new Swagelock port
valve I will appreciate it.
Does the Swagelock valve port both the Hi side and the Low
side to the return at the same time?
My 320 is working fine with the straight dump setup. I
am trying to understand the Legacy reasons for the Swagelock.
