For those who will miss having somewhere to go Labor Day Weekend, try the
Chico Airfest (KCIC).  We attended last year (the only Lancair present) and
had a great time!  Friday night boasts a twilight airshow and big band music
with dancing and a wonderful dinner.  If you are going to display your
aircraft, contact Justin Phillipson at justinp551@yahoo.com and let him know
you will be there.  You will receive, just for displaying your aircraft,
fuel discount from Northgate Aviation, lunch vouchers for two for Saturday,
free raffle ticket to enter a drawing for $100 fuel give away, prop card and
letter certifying your attendance, and free admission to the Airfest for
pilots and all passengers.  You can purchase dinner tickets for Friday night
for $10 (discounted from $40) which gives you the twilight airshow, dinner
and dancing.  You also get to mingle with all the other great pilots there!
