This holds the rudder fully in one direction against the machanical stop. I have cut two slots in the forward seat bulkhead and fished a piece of velcro through to hold the tube when not in use. KISS and had all the parts on hand...costless! Mark,

I just took a piece of 1" square aluminum tubing left over from doing the body work on the wings and cut it to length to fit between one depressed rudder pedal and the forward seat bulkhead just under the pilot seat.  This holds the rudder fully in one direction against the machanical stop.  I have cut two slots in the forward seat bulkhead and fished a piece of velcro through to hold the tube when not in use.  KISS and had all the parts on hand...costless!
