I have no familiarity with this ram air system being described here, but anything in the intake system should be well secured. Your life depends upon it. About 15 years ago, Bud Zeller was killed in his new 320 when the carb heat flapper in his intake box came loose and lodged in the carburetor. When the engine quit, the off-airport landing in an orange grove near TIX was fatal.
