No explanation. They wanted everyone at 90 kts and the same altitude period. I don't know how long that lasted. I landed two airplanes in front of the RV that crashed turning final. It wasn't all that busy at the time as I recall. The other two visits were at the 135 Kt pattern and had fewer A/C and you have a better view of the area ahead. I would expect the controllers would like to see us there also.
