I started using a free online log. I find I dont
keep it updated enough though. Now I just go through each step in the
manual and make a check mark for completed and then sign off the bottom of each
page with the date of completion.
My friend had his lancair
recently inspected and he said the inspector didn't even look at
his log records for more than just to verify he had some form of
them. He did say the guy looked at his pictures of the
project though.
He said the inspector spent most of the time
on flight controls.

Subject: [LML] Builder's log
What methods have people used to log their
projects?
It looks as
though Aerocraft no longer sells the Kitlog program. I had been thinking
I might buy a copy during Builder Assist but instead it could be
downloaded. It seems pretty straightforward- how has it worked for those
who've used it and are there alternative programs?
Thanks very much- Bill
