Since there is no Lancair Redmond Fly-in Labor Day weekend this year, = Saturday, August 11 is the date we have set. It should be doable for = all as it is after the EAA Northwest Arlington Flyin in early July and 2 = weeks after Air Venture in late July. So set aside the date. We have plans to host the flyers and builders at the nicest, newest FBO = on the field (the same FBO as last year) . Breakfast, lunch and dinner = are planned to accommodate all flyers and builders regardless when they = arrive and depart. Because of late morning marine layer issues at some = coastal departure airports, as well as the afternoon temperature in July = and August in Southern Oregon, some flyers may choose to stay the night = and depart in the cool Sunday AM weather. Hotel discounts will be = available Two new hotels are within walking distance of the FBO. =20 We have 2.5.5 (not a typo) Lancairs at MFR. The .5's are Dick's under = construction LNC2, and Steve and Claudette's Legacy which is getting = Steve Green's magic paint touch. =20 More details at a later date.
