After a little investigation I found that I was in error. My fuel flow
sensor is located after the return to tank line. So now it looks like my
fuel flow sensor shows slightly more fuel being used than actual.

Where is your fuel flow sensor? If it is on the engine side of the engine
fuel pump, it should read actual fuel flowing to the engine. The return is
off of the engine pump and the sensor would not see that fuel. That is how
it is on our IO-550N
