Are you guys factoring in the return to
tank fuel for the Continental engine? Are the numbers you are listing the
indicated fuel flow or the corrected ( actual ) fuel flow? It has been my
experience that the difference between indicated fuel flow and actual fuel flow
( based on fuel burned ) is about 1 GPH.
My TSIO powered Legacy:
- 17,570’
pressure altitude; 20,090’ density altitude; 2490 RPM; 29.5”
MP; 195 KIAS; Indicated Fuel Flow 18.9 GPH
- 17,430’
pressure altitude; 20,310’ density altitude; 2510 RPM; 27.1”
MP; 193 KIAS; Indicated Fuel Flow 19.1 GPH
- 16,500’
pressure altitude; 19,090’ density altitude; 2490 RPM; 27.5”
MP; 195 KIAS; Indicated Fuel Flow 19.0 GPH
- 10,510’
pressure altitude; 11,510’ density altitude; 2490 RPM; 29.6’
MP; 207 KIAS; Indicated Fuel Flow 18.8 GPH
