The intent was to attract more East coast and Midwest Lancairs to the fly-in. And my guess is the later date is to help with weather, both getting there and during the fly-in. I also had a West coast trip planned around Labor Day that's going to change now. Based on the news article from Fredericksburg, this could be the new home of Lancair by October. This is a good move for Lancair. If you've been to the factory lately, you know how crowded they are. I'm concerned for all the businesses that are clustered around Redmond and Bend that feed off of the Lancair factory. I'm sure some of them are scratching their heads wondering what to do. Maybe all this scuttlebutt will trigger an official statement from Lancair.
