That is NOT true. We have beaten this horse into the ground and this urban legend keeps coming back. The product must conform to the Type Certificate Data Sheet and be in a condition for safe operation. It DOES NOT require an overhaul. If you have a regulation or advisory circular you can cite --then show me the data.
