I don't want my dash cover to look "awesome". I want it to be
invisibly flat black. As you look forward through the canopy
in flight, the glareshield is in direct sunlight. Anything
other than flat black will show up as glare reflected from the
inside of the canopy. I would use a black felt or velour fabric.
If you use a lycra velour, it will be easy to pull over the
glareshield shape. Then it can be glued on the underside only.
Makes it much easier to replace when the fabric starts to fade
and become more visible (10-20 years if hangared).
