Subject: Elevator Trim Tab Travel Problem

I seam to be missing something with the Elevator Trim Tab. The Servo is producing much more travel than the physical Trim Tab can deal with.
The instructions call for the use of the T2-10A Servo, with 1.0" of travel.
I have both Clevis 's touching each-other, without any lock nuts in-between. I can't center the Trim Tab. There is too much down deflection, so much so that I have had to file a grove into the Arm to allow the Clevis to pivot into it. To get it to deflect up to full servo travel, I had to file away too much of the inner lip. Now when full down deflection, the lip is too short, it leaves a gap? Lancair Tech. Help had thought the Tab was assembled with the wrong Trim Tab Arm, one that was too short. They sent me a new one, but it has the same measurements as the one I have. I am stumped? Does any one have any suggestions? Thanks
