Hi John,
The turn limit is only an issue if you have the strut extended, like bl= own=20 up too far or like some Turbines pushed up as high as they can get. I do hav= e=20 the required Decal on the strut just in case someone else moves the airplane= ,=20 and I try to watch not turning past it's recommended point.

The IV-P Pilot=E2=80= =99s Operating=20 Handbook states:

=E2=80=9CMechanically= attached towing=20 is generally not recommended.  If mechanical towing is necessary a tow=20= bar=20 fitting in the nose wheel axle should be used and extreme care=20 taken.  Hand towing is recommended=E2=80=A6.. =E2=80=9D

I currently push my b= ig heavy=20 Centurion T210 around with a mechanical towing device powered by a small=20 gasoline engine.  Pretty handy, especially in ice or snow=20 (Utah winters).

Is there a reason not= to use=20 such a device on a Lancair?  Is there a risk that the nose gear would=20 fold?  Why is =E2=80=9Cmechanically attached towing generally not=20 recommended=E2=80=9D?

Thanks,=
