I flight tested useable fuel in my Legacy.  Left tank ran down to 0.4 gallons, and right tank down to 0.1 gallons before engine stopped making noise, Fuel totalizer readings were verified when I filled back up.  Flight was in smooth air, coordinated flight.  Now my question is what to do with these numbers.  How low should I let a tank get before takeoff?  landing?  cruise flight before switching tanks?  etc.
