Its been a long time since the accident in Las Vegas (3.5 years). Lots of
sweat and tears and an enormous amount of hard work. Great to be back flying
again. Almost forgot what a joy it is to fly one of these beautiful machines.
Major repairs included:
Engine prop strike inspection/overhaul
New engine mount
Firewall repair
Rear wing spar repair
Replace gearbox rear section
Repair wing leading edge damage
Repair both winglets
Repair both gear doors
Replace all three gear
Replace lower cowling
Repair upper cowling
Install new prop
Painting took an additional 6 months. Photo Attached......
Special thanks to the Arganbright family for their support.
Regards, Bill Hogarty
P.S. Maybe some of our older ex-military folks can recognize the paint
scheme.
