    thanks for the tips.  How do I tell if I have a 12v or 24v unit?

    How do I tell if my switch is good enough?  I have a dpdt eaton rocker.

    My brakes did sit in a closet for a year which could say something about
the clutches.   ...but that doesn't explain why they pop out when
de-energized.   That seems like a spring problem..
