I have the teflon inserts in my aileron hinges.  There is no hinge slop and no back lash in the rod ends.  The ailerons reflex up in flight.  They have been that way since day one.

Clamp one aileron to the wing tip.  Go to the other side and deflect the non-clamped aileron.  Report back the displacement range of the outboard aft tip.  That is the "lash" measurement.
