I don't know about everyone else, but I like to get what I paid for.
Without the added horsepower, what's the point, a nice paint job?
In making the decision from a certified engine to a custom engine, there are positive and negative factors that need to be weighed against each other. In my opinion I traded allot for that horsepower claim. If the added horsepower and performance is not there, I probably would have gone with the stock engine Lancair sells.
I won't say where I got my engine, but lets say, so far I has not been a good experience.
