So we have developed a name for the horsepower claims for those engines. We call it "BHP(c)". In a lot of test stands the BHPc would use the little "c" to stand for "corrected" as in corrected to standard day conditions. But for the engines from the West Coast, we have a different name for the "c". We call it "California" horsepower. It has gotten so bad that when we talk engines, the term "California horsepower" is often used in, well, shall we say a "humorous" manner. Regards, George PS. I am familiar with the dyno on which your engine was tested and it is extremely well calibrated. I have even exchanged engines with that dyno and ours to verify they were both calibrated correctly. They were.
