Hi Tom -- Many thanks for your response and offer. We've decided to try to get some cheap fuel in WI and then either spend the night in SD or, if there's still some life in us codgers, we'll take advantage of the time difference and go all the way to RDM. All depends on winds aloft, weather, bladders and fatigue. If we don't get to the UP, hope to be able to thank you in person at LKL or OSH one of these days. Happy landings, JC

If you find you desire (or need) a slightly shortly first leg, I am based in the southern U.P. of Michigan at KIMT (about 80 NM north of Green Bay WI). I could get you in my hangar, and put you up in an extra bedroom. We have a great FBO on the field, Kubick Aviation. Chad, the owner, is a close personal friend. The only negative, I might work you an hour or two on my prop jet (just kidding).
