WSI needed more viable satellite service so they contracted = with the only viable alternative that didn't ALREADY have it's own = weather service. Now that alternative does have its own weather = service and meanwhile, from what I can tell, WSI's onboard weather = department is down to a skeleton crew until they were to surface from = the previously scheduled Sirius changeover. Personally I am in the dark about where this merger is going. I assume = cutting cost while at least maintaining the same customer base is the = goal. How does radio spectrum play here?
