Speed-Flex looks a lot like Aeroquip 666.
Chris,
Could be..........
See:
and the price page for the Spruce catalog from a search
of "Aeroquip 666", it is higher than the catalog page above.
compare to
Note that there is no 666 #2 or #3 listed. Note that Speed-Flex #3
can be ordered with a clear pvc coating (nice when it is hanging out of the
airplane). Note that a 10' piece of SF dash 4 is $4.30/ft and 666 is at
least $6.60/foot. A 666-4 fitting is $36 while the dash 4 steel for
Speed-Flex is $7.38. Egads, they have SS fittings, too.
One should obtain an Earl's catalog for more info. I just used to
first site I cam e to and see that they are more motorcycle specific. Race
car suppliers should be better. Make sure to look at 37 degree flared
fittings rather than 45 degree automotive (ugh).
If I remember correctly, I got all of my SS/teflon hose and fittings from a
race shop over in Aurora, IL.
