No video, but here are four pictures Marianne took on Saturday when we
were out flying. There was nowhere we really needed to go, so we just
did our usual flight up past Mt. Baker to exercise the airplane, except
this time we flew around the mountain.
The first picture is Mt. Baker, in northern Washington, about 10 minutes
after takeoff. We were north of the mountain when this was taken. The
second is looking east over the North Cascades while on the eastern
flank of Mt. Baker. The third is looking west at Mt. Baker, and was
taken just after the second one. You can see the Strait of Juan de Fuca
and the San Juan Islands in the background. I have a couple of others
that show the islands a little better, if anyone is interested. The
last is Orcas Island--our airport (KORS) is on the narrow part of the
island near the top of the photograph, where you can see the clearing
and the little town.

[Nice photos!!! If anyone wants a hi-res copy of any of them just drop me or Charles an email... the originals are about 2500x1900 (avg 900kb each) and would be suitable for framing if sent to a photo quality color printer. FWIW. <Marv> ]
