Tony Durizzi's IVP was built earlier and had the same ice light as = this. There was a piece of plexiglass bonded over the top to protect it. It = worked well, but I think the surface began to crack around it if memory = serves. Could have been due to flexure. =20 John Barrett The subsequent owner of the aircraft had the lights removed during a = repaint of the entire airframe (I worked on the re-paint). The lights were not = in very good condition.
