For me, I see it this way:

Chelton or D2 need=A0AHARS, they go to Crossbow and also = Aerospace Company X.=A0 For what ever reason they get = the AHARS=A0from Crossbow.

Aerospace company X, may be as a backup or may be a = second bidder, what ever.

Crossbow has some glitches that they don't catch before = the product goes out the door. Major problem for the Chelton system and = D2.

Chelton and or D2 goes back to Aerospace Company X and = Aerospace Company X forms Company Y =96 Pinpoint to manufacture and sell = the=A0AHARS.

Obviously to keep the AHARS Company Y =96 Pinpoint = separate from Aerospace Company X.

I think the reason Aerospace Company X wants to = remain=A0separate from Company Y - Pinpoint is = because they are a large aerospace company that maintains a specific = image, and they spend a lot of money to maintain that image and don't = want to corrupt that image with another market.=A0In = this case the Experimental market.
