What's the consensus on the beefier actuator and spring upgrade for the
Legacy inboard gear doors?  Are they worth it?  Are they  required or can the
original design be set up so that the doors close  fully in flight and remain
closed?

I recall reading someplace of someone installing electromagnets to hold the
gear doors closed in flight (Paul Lipps?)  How exactly was  this set up?  I
presume it's powered when the gear switch is  up.  What's the force and
current?  Is it home-made, or if  not, where do I find the parts.  My only
concern would be  electromagnetic radiation throughout the flight.  Is this an
issue?

  Thanks
