If Joe Blow and John Doe both had a
full-hand in building the plane, why shouldn't they both be
builder/repairman? Well, the regs are specific that 51% of the building
must be done by the builder. And, since it's not possible to have two
people build 51% of a plane, even if they each gave 110%, someone is going
to have to accept that they only did 49%, hence they don't qualify as the
builder/repairman. Math is a cruel sport. Chuck Jensen
But if it should take 2,000 hrs to build a
Legacy, and two guys workin' together and drinkin' beer take 4,000 hrs to do the
work, then . . .
