Daniel" : Gentlemen, I am a banker by trade and even though I am not a lawyer, I have had way too much practical experience in problems with businesses going under. My opinion of this situation is based on that experience. It appears that D2A is out of business...it appears that they are insolvent even though at this point they have not declared bankruptcy. If D2A owes you money or equipment...you are going to lose. Chelton is a supplier for D2A not an owner or guarantor. I would bet that D2A owes Chelton money which it will also lose. You can not expect Chelton, Kirk, Pinpoint, FreeFlight, Hilary Clinton or the government to bail you out. If you have a panel builder like Lancair Avionics in the middle...you are lucky. If you have a small independent panel builder in the middle, he is probably liable, but I would suggest you consider compromise. I am lucky in that I received all of my equipment several months ago, (Pinpoint ADAHRS and MSU and AOT and FreeFlight) it is installed, and works great. I had a good relationship with D2A and I hate to see them go under...but it happens. Kirk and his crew lost a lot more than you did. Chat Daniel Super ES 891AC
