(My Chelton was not shipped with the Crossboxw ADHRS). As a possible alternative to the Trutrak ADI I was considering the EGYRO2 ELECTRIC HORIZON http://www.pcflightsystems.com/EGYRO2.htm or the MGL ARTIFICIAL HORIZON http://www.mglavionics.co.za/singles.html My panel has already been cut and complete except for these items so I am limited to a 2 1/4" receptacle. While the 2 1/4" Trutrak ADI with self-contained battery was initially planned as a b/u AI, without the Chelton Sport EFIS functioning I would need some primary AI to fly safely. Attached is a pdf file of my panel [not!] I would greatly appreciate feedback from the LML on the advisibility of using either of these AI alternatives and whether or not one could depend on them for IFR flight (disclaimers by the manufacturers notwithstanding) given the configuration of the rest of the panel which includes a Garmin 480. I've uploaded it to the LML website, you can find it at the bottom of the "Panel" page ]
