Gene Martin. I keep a lower pressure in the nose tire, about 40 psi +/-. I was told early on that a lower pressure would help reduce the chance of nose tire shimmy. But there is a fine line there also. I landed with a flat nose tire several years ago. Again, there was a tiny hole in the tube sidewall caused by underinflation. At that time I was keeping 30 to 35 psi in the nose tire.

George do you use 48 in the nose tire also,I recieved paperwork back with
my nose strut mod that said use 40 psi ?
"""
I have been using that tire from day one on my 320 (December, 1994) and have
been very satisfied with its performance. I put on new tires in January this
year after two and one half years and about 235 flight hours. The only
problems I have had were brought on by by underinflation, causing flexing and
a pin-hole leak in the tube side wall. I keep tire pressure at 48 psi (+/-)
and have had no further problems.
