Did you fly with magnetos first, if so how much difference did you
see.
At the low rpm's I fly, the ideal advance angle would probably be close
to my mag's 25 deg, but it would likely run smooth on a leaner mixture.
Great job handling the bird strike, hope you are back in the air
soon.
